Analogy

A beautiful thought that ran through my mind when one of my friend complained about me that I do not satisfy relations..

Consider the analogy between stone and relationship;
viz. size of the stone = the strength of the relationship..
then Every person need to balance the number of stones he can hold in his hands against their size.
I.e. You cannot hold many stones in your hands unless you have compromised with the size(and made them pebbles).
Larger the size of stones you hold the fewer the number you can sustain.....

રાજનીતિ નો રોટલો

Today the full day people waited for the verdict, fingers crossed. Yes Iam talking about the Ayodhya verdict, which was postponed from 24th sept to today, 28 th.
But the desicion is out to come yet; on 30th.
The fact is that the desicion is to be given by Alahabad High Court. This means that the desicion is not final. Who ever loses;( I am not getting into a debate), will apply further say The Supreme Court,Single judge Bench, Divisional Bench, Full Bench.
That in itself is a hell lot of time consuming process, which may take, as such we know, many many years.
This is all politics. The only, who will benifit from this, are the politicians, nad those who want to create communal clashes.

1. When guy says he doesn't understand you means you are not thinking the way he is..

Impact of mindset

Today we are spectator to one more incidence of catastrophic repercussion of mindset on performance.
The semi final match between Germany and Spain, though was a vehement competition, but  I believe that, what worked on the field in favor of the Spain was not the Spanish caliber but the pessimistic German mind-set.
Until the last game, Paul has been predicting Germany's games correctly which induced high German belief in it; and consequently when it predicted Spanish victory, Germans were crestfallen. I found that on the play briskness and vivacity was missing among Germans, a team who ferociously trounced the Argentine Juggernaut. 
But I also appreciate the German game because they didn't sulked like the nonconforming Argentinians.

Binary to decimal & viceversa conversion

This technique is useful while solving networks problems.

1. Binary to decimal

Select the first value from left hand side. If its 0, next; if its 1, we start.
If its succeeded by a 0, then double the number (i.e. 1 in this case).
If its succeeded by a 1, then double the number and add 1 to it.

Carry out the same procedure for all digits.

for eg. 11010110
1=>1
(1*2)+1=3          since followed by 1.
3*2=6                 since 0.
(6*2)+1=13       since 1.
(13*2)=26         since 0.
(26*2)+1=53    since 1.
(53*2)+1=107  since 1.
(107*2)=214    since 0.

final answer => 214.

2. Decimal to binary

This is little tricky but not that much you usually do.
Remember the range 128, 64, 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1.
The range specifies the position of bits.
For any bit to be 1 or 0, compareit with the remainder, if remainder larger than value put 1 at that position, else put 0.


select any no. say 189
1st  bit=>    is 189 >= 128 ?  yes.      So =>1                           189-128=61
2nd bit=>    is 61   >=   64 ?    no.      So =>0
3rd  bit=>    is 61   >=   32 ?  yes.      So =>1                            61-32=29
4th  bit=>    is 29   >=   16 ?  yes.      So =>1                            29-16=13
5th  bit=>    is 13   >=     8 ?  yes.      So =>1                            13-8=5
6th  bit=>    is 5     >=     4 ?  yes.      So =>1                             5-4=1
7th  bit=>    is 1     >=     2 ?  no.       So =>0
8th  bit=>    is 1     >=    1 ?  yes.      So =>1                              1-1=0

final answer => 10111101

Cross checking : Always remember, the remainder must be zero, then the conversion is correct.

2 Arrows of a Line

I think that, you must have atlest 2 kind of persons in your life.

1.     A person who is in a much miserable condition as compared to you.

 This is because, whenever you feel like there is nothing left in life, or you are in a very pathetic and pitiable condition, just compare yourself with that person. By doing so, you will realize that on this earth there is atleast 1 organism who is in a much discontented situation. This will cheer you up. If not atleast you will not feel alone, and would feel that you have a company.

2.     A person who is in superior situation.
This is because, this person will be the reason for your striving efforts to succeed, to grow. At times if you think comparitively making he/she the target to cross, yes you are sure to progress.
